Hill Country Art Focus Mission

Hill Country Arts Focus strengthens the cultural life of Central Texas’s northern Hill Country by supporting working artists, expanding opportunities for them to share their work, and building a sustainable creative infrastructure for the region.

  • Our Organization

Hill Country Arts Focus is a community 501(c)(3) Texas nonprofit created by local artists almost two decades ago. Originally named the Georgetown Art Works, our all-volunteer board strives to enrich the arts throughout Central Texas.

  • Our Supporters

We are grateful for the generous support of those who contribute to Hill Country Arts Focus.

Your donations make Art Hop, special exhibits, workshops, and local art events possible.

  • Our Board and Volunteers

Hill Country Art Focus is supported by a dedicated group of volunteers—both on and off the Board of Directors—who bring a diverse range of skills and experiences. From marketers and local artists to finance professionals, their collective commitment plays a vital role in ensuring the success of HCAF and its initiatives.

  • Our Work

Hill Country Arts Focus partners with art organizations, artists, and community members to celebrate and elevate all forms of art in the smaller cities and towns of Central Texas.

Through our collaborations, we strengthen local art organizations and foster the growth of exceptional art and cultural events in the region. Our mission is to create opportunities for artists to thrive, showcasing their talents and connecting them with new audiences.

2026 marks the 19th annual Art Hop, presented by HCAF. Downtown Georgetown is the perfect backdrop for this juried show and features artworks from Texas artists in multiple categories for cash and other prizes. It offers the community the best place to catch rising stars.
