Art Hop 19 Overview
The 2026 Art Hop is a statewide juried art exhibit organized by Hill Country Art Focus, held in Georgetown's historic district this October. Participating venues include the Georgetown Public Library and Lamppost Coffee. Best in Show and additional prizes will be awarded in individual categories. The Art Hop is open to Texas artists aged 16 and older.

Categories
2-D Representational: Representational subject matter in any 2-D medium (painting, watercolor, encaustic, acrylic, oil, mixed media, textiles, collage, gouache, ink, graphite, pastel, printmaking).
2-D Abstract: Abstract subject matter in any 2-D medium (same as above).
3-D Representational: Representational subject matter in any 3-D medium (ceramics, sculpture, assemblage, wood, metal, mixed media).
3-D Abstract: Abstract subject matter in any 3-D medium (same as above).
Photography: Camera-generated photographic images.
Digital Art: Digital imaging, digital collage, and digital design.

Entry Requirements
$45 entry fee for up to 3 artworks
$55 entry fee for 4 or 5 artworks
Limit of 5 entries per artist.
Entries are submitted and fees paid through EntryThingy (jpg or pdf files only). -
Artwork Requirements
2-D, Photography/Digital, Wall Pieces: Maximum size 48 inches on any side (frame included). Must be ready to install with professional hardware (no saw-tooth hangers or string).
3-D, Ceramics, Sculpture: Maximum size 48 inches on any side and weight no more than 50 lbs. Pedestals must be provided if needed (limited pedestals available).
Labeling: Each piece must be labeled on the back with the title, artist's name, and contact info.

How To Submit Your Artwork:
All entries and fees must be submitted through EntryThingy (jpg or pdf files). Images must be between 200KB and 10MB. Fees can be paid by credit card or PayPal. Full instructions are available on the EntryThingy form (available June 27, 2026).

Judging Process
Round 1: Online judging in late August.
Round 2: In-person judging before the exhibit opens, determining placements and cash awards.
Awards are announced at the reception ceremony.
